If you're considering hiring a professional organizer but feel unsure about what the process actually involves, you're not alone. We get it, letting someone into your space can feel a little vulnerable. But rest assured, our goal is to support, not judge.

At happy.healthy.home., we focus on making your day-to-day living easier by creating spaces that are calm, clutter-free, and tailored to how you live. Whether you’re feeling totally overwhelmed or just need a little guidance, we’re here to help, with kindness, clarity, and a clear plan.

Here’s what our process looks like, step by step:

Step 1: Let’s Start with a Conversation

First, we’ll schedule a quick phone chat to get to know you and your goals. We’ll ask a few simple questions about your home and what you’d like to improve, whether it’s a jam-packed pantry, a cluttered closet, or a garage you haven’t touched in years.

This call helps us understand what matters most to you and how we can best support your vision.

Step 2: In-Home Walkthrough

Next, we’ll schedule a 45-minute in-home consultation. This is our chance to take a closer look at your space, hear what’s working and what’s not, and talk through the specific changes you’d like to see.

We’ll ask questions like:

  • What’s causing the most stress?

  • What needs to stay and what might be ready to go?

  • How do you want to feel in this room once we’re done?

Our goal is to listen carefully so we can design a plan that fits your life, not just your layout.

Step 3: We Build a Plan Just for You

After we’ve seen your space and talked through your goals, we’ll create a custom action plan. Think of this as the blueprint for your new, more functional home.

Once we get your thumbs-up, we’ll set a date and get started!

Step 4: Decluttering + Organizing Day!

This is where the transformation happens. Whether you want to be hands-on or prefer to let us take the reins, we’re happy to work with your preferences. Together (or independently, if you’d like us to handle it), we’ll:

  • Sort through your items

  • Decide what to keep, donate, or toss

  • Create zones that match how you use your space

  • Bring in containers, labels, and systems that make life easier

Don’t worry, we’ll never pressure you to get rid of anything you’re not ready to part with. And yes, we’ll haul away donation items if you'd like!

What You Can Expect Afterward

By the end of your session(s), you’ll have:

✔ A cleaner, calmer, more usable space
✔ Clear systems you can maintain long-term
✔ Less stress and more breathing room

We’ll also share simple maintenance tips and check in as needed. Some of our clients love having regular refresh sessions, and we’re happy to help however we can!

  • How much does it cost?
    Our in-home consultations are $75. Organizing services are $75/hour per organizer and are completely customized based on your needs.

  • Do I need to buy anything beforehand?
    Nope! We can work with what you already have or bring in products based on your space and budget.

  • Is this confidential?
    Absolutely! Your home and story are safe with us.
